Kia ora everyone,
After lunch 4 days a week we are doing sports ed. There are multiple different sports to be played and roughly 6 teams per each sport.
I am playing rounders, which is a game similar to softball, we are called the GumiBears. Ankit, Coll, Tuari, Honey, Leyan, Flynn, and I are in the team together.
This is is our team slide, it can give you a bit of information on our team chant, uniform, and mascot.

It's been a while since we've been quarantined, and often being isolated at home can quite obviously get boring at times, so here are some ideas to keep you busy and content at home.

Continuing with our inquiry, a student teacher tasked us with creating a slideshow and biteable on the subject of microplastics, I worked with Holly, here is our finished project.

For inquiry recently we have been looking at the problems in our waterways, and the sea. Things like pollution and plastic. We are learning about this to build up to wearable arts later on in the term
We were tasked to write a letter to Poto Williams on the issues asking her to help- and what she thought we could do. My letter isn't yet complete but I will update you when it is.
So for inquiry today we did STEAM and had to create a table made of 10 sheets of paper and a metre of tape.
We managed 2 books on top of our structure. We originally made a more detailed item but changed it up last minute.
Our teamwork was good, but the table wasn't great.
