Lest we forget- Let's not forget

Although there are a few rough things going around, around all of us, and the world is full of uncertainties, ANZAC day is still coming up soon and it seems as if due to the corona virus, almost everyone HAS forgotten.

I drew this piece and added green dots around it, showing that even though Covid 19 is the news headline, we still have time to remember and think about the other things happening around us.

  1. Hi Isabella
What a powerful post! You are right, we are so absorbed in thinking about Covid 19, that the focus has gone right away from remembering Anzac Day. Thanks for the reminder!
Looking forward to reading more of your posts!

  2. Wow Isabella, this is fantastic. I love your artwork, you have such a personal style that I just adore. I completely understand what you are saying out people 'forgetting'. It's hard sometimes to see outside of our immediate bubble, as we are all so caught up in Covid-19 at them moment. Your image certainly grasps the concept of ANZAC and the Covid-19 pandemic.
What programme did you use? Did you draw it freehand (with a stylus), or a mouse? Keep up the great work ;o)

    1. Kia ora Mrs D, thanks so much for commenting on my post! I actually got a special tablet and stylus that connects to my computer so I can do digital art, it was expensive, but worth it! I look forward to reading your future comments :))
